Merge Error Reporting

 

Optionally, you can display "merge error" counts within the Status tab on the Campaign Details screen. These counts provide you with better insights into the number of email messages that were successfully deployed.

Custom Open Pixel Placement

 

By default, the platform places an "open pixel" at the very top of the email message content, for the purposes of tracking recipient Opens. If this default placement causes issues with the alignment or formatting of your content, you can adjust the open pixel to a different placement within the message

SMS Text Channel for EDP Sending

 

Campaigns that use EDP as their data source now support the SMS Text channel. This release adds support for Regular One-off and Date-triggered Campaigns (support for Event-triggered was added in a previous release).

Dynamic Attributes in Proofing

 

Campaigns that use EDP as their data source support the use of Dynamic Attributes (also known as "Member Functions") in the message content. You can now send Proofs for Campaigns that have Dynamic Attributes in the message content.

Support for Send Schedule as the Element to Split

 

If configuring Cells and Splits in an EDP-driven Campaign, you can now select "Send Schedule" as the element you want to vary across each cell.

Support for Cell-level Pause / Resume

 

If configuring Cells and Splits in an EDP-driven Campaign, you can now pause a specific cell, which will stop sending from that cell, and all child cells beneath it. You can also later resume sending in that cell.

Support for Dynamic Attributes


Dynamic Attributes are reusable calculations or expressions defined in the Engagement Data Platform. You can now pull Dynamic Attributes into Looping Blocks, Dynamic Blocks, and Campaign content for personalization purposes.

Pick Up Changes


The Pick Up Changes process allows you to make modifications to a Campaign post-launch. As an additional security feature, you must now suspend the Campaign prior to executing Pick Up Changes.



Enable / Disable Real-Time Export


Real-Time Export (RTX) is used to send Event data (such as opens, clics, unsubscribes, etc.) from Messaging to the Engagement Data Platform. At a table level, you can now enable or disable the RTX process.

Sanitize Data Fields


A new "Sanitize Data Fields" option is available for Web Forms, API Posts, and Web Pages. This feature is intended to prevent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. If enabled, the platform will automatically encode all fields in the form.

Frequency Capping


The platform supports the use of a global frequency cap to limit the number of touchpoints a consumer receives within a specific time period. Frequency Capping is part of Cheetah Digital's Marketing Composer, which is a premium feature that must be enabled in your account.

Sender Profile Classifications

Sender Profile Classifications allow you to organize your Sender Profiles based on their intended purpose -- promotional or transactional. The Classification setting is used for managing recipient eligibility across Sender Profiles, within the same sending table. Sender Profile Classifications are required for EDP-based sending, and optional for Messaging-based sending.

Enhanced Workflow

The Enhanced Workflow version of the Campaign screen is now the standard, default Campaign screen. You can still toggle back to the "classic" screen if necessary, but the platform will default to the Enhanced Workflow when you create / select an Email Campaign.

Uploading Hosted Items

In order to prevent the accidental overwrite of Hosted Items, the process of uploading Hosted Items has been enhanced with better error messaging. If you attempt to import a file that has the same name as an existing file in the destination folder, the platform displays an error messaging, instructing you to either change the filename, or to select a different destination folder.

The Content Designer has been enhanced with several features to help you better manage your saved Designs.

Send Time Optimization

Send Time Optimization (STO) is a new Email Campaign scheduling option that allows you to derive the best time to contact each recipient within the Campaign's audience. The platform will deploy messages to each recipient based on their preferred time of day.

Filter Screen Reskin

The Filter screen has been redesigned to more efficiently use the available screen space. The items previously listed within the Function Menu along the left-hand side of the workspace have been moved to a horizontal row of tabs above the workspace. Additional formatting and design changes have also been implemented.
