The Calendar screen provides a high-level overview of your various Campaigns, including those that have already launched, and those that are scheduled to launch in the future. This view makes it easy to see when a Campaign is scheduled to run and its duration, and to get general information about a Campaign.
By default, the Calendar displays the current month. The small calendar view panel on the left-hand side of the Workspace provides access to the subsequent next two months as well. To scroll to the next three months, click the ">" icon; to scroll to the previous three months, click the "<" icon. Click on a month within this panel to display that month in the main Calendar view.
For a Campaign to appear on the Calendar, it must have a Message Deployment Schedule start date. The Campaign doesn't have to be launched, but it does have to be scheduled. Any un-launched Campaign, of any type, that doesn't have a Message Deployment Schedule start date, will not appear on the calendar.
The Calendar differentiates between the different Campaign types, as follows:
A Regular One-Off Campaign appears on the calendar as a blue box. If the Campaign deployment spans multiple days, the blue box will stretch across multiple days. If you hover your mouse cursor over the box, a pop-up window is displayed with additional information.
All Date-triggered Campaigns for a given day appear on the calendar within a yellow dot. The number on the dot indicates how many Date-triggered Campaigns are scheduled to deploy that day. A Date-triggered Campaign is included on every day that the Campaign is scheduled to deploy. If you hover your mouse cursor over the dot, a pop-up window is displayed with additional information about all the Date-triggered Campaigns for that day.
All Event-triggered Campaigns for a given day appear on the calendar within a purple dot. The number on the dot indicates how many Event-triggered Campaigns can deploy that day. An Event-triggered Campaign is included on every day that the Campaign can deploy, based on its start and end dates. If you hover your mouse cursor over the dot, a pop-up window is displayed with additional information about all the Event-triggered Campaigns for that day.
To view further information about a Campaign, click on its name within the pop-up window. The Campaigns screen is displayed.
To refresh the Calendar view, click the refresh button above the Calendar.
